WHAT IS THIS GAME?
256 Wizards is an action RPG/roguelike inspired by old 16-bit DOS games, and Mark Brown's video on Kishotenketsu as a game design philosophy.
the game is in super-early development. expect crashes.
up to 5 players can play simultaneously, if you have four wired XBox controllers to plug in.
use the Konami code (up up down down left right left right B A) before beginning the game to go to the debugging level.
256 Wizards is made in C# with MonoGame, using a custom framework. you will need the .NET 4.6 runtime, freely available from Microsoft. if you have Windows 10 and/or play a lot of games, you probably already have this.
